Gwenlynn Multine, DMD
Dr. Multine began her dental career with Indian Health Services on the Salt River Reservation in 2008. She was trained as safety officer for the Salt River Clinic 2009. In 2012, she joined Spear Education as a faculty club member, where she increased her knowledge of the advancing technology of dental materials and interdisciplinary care. Dr. Multine’s drive to provide outstanding patient care led her to pursue private practice, and in 2017, she joined Renew Dental.
Dr. Multine graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health with a certificate in public health in 2008. She became a Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) in 2019 with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). She then became an OSHA authorized General Industry Trainer for 10- and 30-hour OSHA courses tailored to dentistry in 2020.
When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Multine spends her time enjoying the outdoors, trail running, hiking, camping, biking, and spending time with her family and dog.
Douglas Benting, DDS, MS, FACP
Dr. Benting began his career in dentistry in 2002, working with a specialty dental group in Minnesota and as a part-time faculty member at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. In 2006, the lure of warmer weather and the opportunity to develop a patient-centered prosthodontic practice brought him to Arizona. Dr. Benting has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and is currently a resident faculty member at Spear Education.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Dr. Benting continued his education with a prosthodontic specialty residency program and earned a Master of Science in dentistry in 2002. Dr. Benting completed the process to become a Board Certified fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists in 2011.
In his spare time, Dr. Benting enjoys hiking, hanging out with his family and playing with his dog.
